What Animals Can be Released?

Animals that have successfully been rehabilitated a place to be released

Can you give a rehabilitated animal the habitat it needs?

Bats

Bats are fantastic for the environment. They like to eat their weight in mosquitos and generally move on from their release site in two to three days.

Skunks

Striped Skunks are amazing to have in your yard! They like mushrooms, wasps, and clean up carrion. They are nomadic and will probably move on in a few days. They carry only a small amount of spray and only use it in extreme occasions.

Opossums

Opossums are awesome to have in your area. They love to eat ticks! This means that they reduce the ability for Lyme disease to spread! They are typically nomadic and will move on shortly to find food.

Squirrels

Squirrels are great for soil health and wonderful for your property. They may stay depending on the wildlife already there but will probably venture away.

Racoons

Raccoons love to live near streams. They can sometimes live in groups and sometimes live alone. Because of this it is very unlikely they stick around for longer than a week.

And More!
